Counselling Can Help
Counselling and psychotherapy work to enhance self-knowledge and increase your resources and choices in life. Whether you are troubled by a current situation, a painful or confusing past, or with concerns for your future - we work together, exploring solutions to the difficulties that are causing you unhappiness.
I have over ten years experience of working with people from all walks of life; in the NHS, in a University Counselling Service for staff and students, and in private practice. I work with a range of issues, in both long-term and brief time-limited therapy. I have particular experience working with:
My Approach and About Me
I am an Integrative Counsellor. I work with psychodynamic, humanistic and CBT approaches to counselling and psychotherapy, offering long-term, or time-limited brief therapy. I also bring in mindfulness, which can be particularly effective at calming anxiety. For details please click: My Approach
I have a Masters Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am Accredited by The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) (Accreditation is an advanced BACP qualification). I adhere to the BACP ethical framework for good practice. For further information please click: About Me. The BACP is the largest professional body representing counselling and psychotherapy in the UK. To find me on the register, or for further information please click BACP Register. My register no. is 042816.
Taking a First Step into Counselling Can Feel Daunting
Therapy begins with an initial appointment to discuss your concerns and my approach, and is a chance to see if I am the right therapist for you. The initial first appointment is charged at £50.00.
Ongoing sessions range from £60.00 to £80.00. Sessions last 50 minutes.
Due to the ongoing covid situation I am presently offering online and telephone counselling.
Following my move to online psychotherapy, I am now practicing throughout Greater London and the South East. I will be moving to a central London consulting room as soon as government and WHO guidelines advise that it is safe to resume face-to-face meeting.
Or telephone 07874207977
I aim to respond to enquiries within 48 hours, between the hours of 9am and 6pm, except Sundays and public holidays.
